In the Fall of 2022 I invited customers, workshop participants and friends of my shop, Case for Making, to send in artwork that they’ve created using CfM handmade watercolors. We gathered work from 70 participants in just a few months. The paintings were then cut down into thousands of 2” squares, sorted by color, and reassembled into this collection of paper quilts. The quilts were installed for a month long exhibition at Axis Gallery in Sacramento in February of 2023. The smallest of the quilts are 4”x4” and the largest, Quilt: Blue, is 54” x 38”
